ryandavidg 30 Posted September 20, 2017 Share Posted September 20, 2017 Was checking the dashboard when someone used the IOS app on this particular device (an older iPhone mostly used as a music player now) and I noticed a couple of unusual issues/errors. Nothing major, just thought I'd point them out. - The app version noted on the dashboard flickers between v1.3 (incorrect) and v1.4.2 (correct) - see below. - It claims to be "Direct playing". I did a double-take on this, as my music collection is all in FLAC and in the past this device always triggered AAC transcoding, so for a moment I though Apple had added FLAC support - they are, but only in the upcoming IOS11 and this phone is still on 10.3.3. Then I noticed that it actually has a red transcoding bar as usual, it just seems the "Direct playing" message is wrong.
