MrJames 0 Posted September 17, 2017 Share Posted September 17, 2017 Trying to play video on the Android App and all I get is a black screen. EMBY is showing that the video is playing and direct streaming but nothing is happening. Doesn't seem to matter if I am streaming on my local network or on cell data plan. I've read in some areas that when streaming to Android that all videos are transcoded to mkv if that's true then doesn't look like that is the case for me and I'm not sure how to proceeded. Yep turns out my storage drive decided to develop bad sectors. ran a file check and whala working again. MrJames 0 Posted November 6, 2017 Author Share Posted November 6, 2017 Think my issues was similar. File that I have been moving to my NAS where getting corrupted in the transfer.
