Season title text does not change until season metadata is refreshed

I am adding videos where I group each of them into "seasons".  They're contained in a TV library.
 
When I add a new season to the show, I change the season title text from Season N to Some Description.  I make other additional changes such as adding an overview, parental rating, genre's etc... and save the changes.
 
If I click the info ('i') button on an episode in the season, the information for that episode is displayed.
However, it still references the default season title (Season N) instead of the new season title (Some Description).
I need to refresh the metadata on the season in order for the new season title text to be used.  Refreshing the metadata on an episode is insufficient.
