Server/Webapp? - Read-only 'guest' or 'visitor' user

Hello. I think it'd be a good idea to have an optional, dedicated 'guest' or 'visitor' user available as a login option.

Modern Web browsers have an 'incognito' mode that don't save browsing history; Chrome and Chrome OS both have 'Guest' accounts that allow full temporary use of the system, but reset to a blank state after the user logs off.

I often have company, and would like the ability to keep 'my' user account - with its watched status', playlists etc. - separate from the account my guests would use.

I'm aware that I can create a user called Guest/Visitor/etc; but I'd rather have a 'read-only' account available that doesn't maintain a watch history, as users logging-in as this account would not expect to pick up where they left off.

Thanks.
