railfrog 0
Hi I have installed emby on my server (windows server 2008 R2). The playback is wired ethernet through my DLNA home theatre device (LG BD405SU), and that in turn is via HDMI lead to my TV (LG 50PK350). When I choose the DLNA setting there are no devices there to choose. The home theatre should be there but it is not. Am I missing something during the install? I am currently trying to run it alongside Serviio. Is this having an effect? Thanks in advance.
Luke 37248
What are you expecting it to show up in Dlna settings? What exactly are you trying to do? thanks.
railfrog 0
What are you expecting it to show up in Dlna settings? What exactly are you trying to do? thanks. With it being DLNA, it should show up on the home link of my home theatre. If it is like Serviio, and i'm guessing it probably is, then I would expect to see emby under the home link of my home theatre. Choose emby and whatever I have listed in the library would be able to play on the home theatre system. edit: There are no devices listed under the devices menu. railfrog 0
Just been reading another post which states that their device is not in the "play to" list. This is the same with my device. It is not there in the list.
Luke 37248
Does your TV show up?
railfrog 0
Does your TV show up? No, my TV doesn't but that is not the device that is DLNA. It should be the home cinema which does, but does not.
