mnaverfeldt 0
Hi! After my initial scan I noticed that a lot of my tv shows were missing metadata. I enabled debug log and ran refresh on a few items with the following result: 2017-08-16 13:46:30.3226 Info HttpClient: HttpClientManager GET: https://www.thetvdb.com/api/B89CE93890E9419B/series/75760 /all/en.zip 2017-08-16 13:46:30.5265 Error HttpClient: Error ProtocolError getting response from https://www.thetvdb.com/api/B89CE93890E9419B/series/75760. /all/en.zip *** Error Report *** Version: 3.2.27.0 Command line: /usr/lib/emby-server/bin/MediaBrowser.Server.Mono.exe -programdata /var/lib/emby-server -restartpath /usr/lib/emby-server/restart.sh Operating system: Unix 4.9.0.3 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: True Mono: 4.8.1 (Stable 4.8.1.0/22a39d7 Sat Jul 22 18:51:35 UTC 2017) Processor count: 8 Program data path: /var/lib/emby-server Application directory: /usr/lib/emby-server/bin System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.EndGetResponse (System.IAsyncResult asyncResult) [0x00064] in <5641e4edad4f4464ba58c620a7b8ea48>:0 at System.Threading.Tasks.TaskFactory`1[TResult].FromAsyncCoreLogic (System.IAsyncResult iar, System.Func`2[T,TResult] endFunction, System.Action`1[T] endAction, System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[TResult] promise, System.Boolean requiresSynchronization) [0x00014] in <dbb16e0bacdc4a0f87478e401bc29b6c>:0 System.Net.WebException at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.EndGetResponse (System.IAsyncResult asyncResult) [0x00064] in <5641e4edad4f4464ba58c620a7b8ea48>:0 at System.Threading.Tasks.TaskFactory`1[TResult].FromAsyncCoreLogic (System.IAsyncResult iar, System.Func`2[T,TResult] endFunction, System.Action`1[T] endAction, System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[TResult] promise, System.Boolean requiresSynchronization) [0x00014] in <dbb16e0bacdc4a0f87478e401bc29b6c>:0 Actual URL: https://www.thetvdb.com/api/B89CE93890E9419B/series/75760. /all/en.zip Working URL: https://www.thetvdb.com/api/B89CE93890E9419B/series/75760/all/en.zip Notice the following in the URL to thetvdb: ".<space>". Same result for a bunch of tv shows. TheTVDB Id is populated in the metadata manager, without any extra characters. Anyone knows what the problem might be? mnaverfeldt 0
So i decided to reinstall everything and run the scan once again. Same problem :-( There is nothing weird about the folder structure what I can see. TV shows ---- Show --------tvshow.nfo (just a link to thetvdb) --------Season 1 ------------ Show S01E01 ------------ Show S01E02 ------------ Show S01E03 --------Season 2 ------------ Show S02E01 ------------ Show S02E02 ------------ Show S02E03 Nobody else really have this problem? Sven 136
Can you post the full log? So we can check if it's already broken before the call to thetvdb.
mnaverfeldt 0
Of course. Attaching it now. emby-debug-log.txt

mnaverfeldt 0
Can you attach the nfo file? thanks. Sure, it just contains an URL to thetvdb. Attaching it. Used mostly for Kodi (http://kodi.wiki/view/NFO_files/TV_shows#Video_.nfo_files_containing_a_URL). Edit: Might be a newline at the end in some of the nfo-files which maybe can cause the problem (?). Can't test it though as I don't have write access to the files. tvshow.nfo Edited August 20, 2017 by mnaverfeldt
Luke 37180
if it is a newline character then that's resolved for a future release. thanks.
