Mix of Portrait and Landscape

The images within programs for On Now, Movies, Shows, etc... are no longer all portrait images. The images are a mix of portrait and landscape. I'm assuming this is due to the recent updates to the emby application on my FireTV and MiBox.

1.4.36.a

MiBox software version

1.4.36g 

 

Note: The images are still all portrait on my iPad and when viewing the programs section from the web interface. 

 

Is this normal behavior now? Or is there a way to force all images on the devices in question to portrait?

Hi.  That is by design.  We favor the thumb images on devices that can handle mixed aspect ratios because, especially in the case of live TV programs, it gives you the ability to see so much more information about the item (what channel, what time, etc.).  Plus, they just look nicer .
