Emby hangs sometimes

Hi there,

 

I'm really nerved now by emby.

What I find most usefull on emby is the "play to" option for DLNA.

Thats why I already installed emby some months ago because of this feature  but then gave up on finding a reason why it so often crashes.

So, with the last offer to get a premiere abo I hit the button and here i'm back.

But i'm now facing the same problems as before.

So here's the thing.

Some minutes ago I tried to play some music on my Volumio Box with the "play to" option from my cell phone with the emby android app. After some tracks emby hangs and becomes completely unresponsive (from cell phone, WEBUI etc.)

Sound stops for several seconds and comes back for 1-2 seconds. "TOP" doesn't show any problems and other programs are still responsive.

I observed that also on older versions of emby server at the end of last year on a different OS.

Currently I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 with emby-server 3.2.26.

 

What I did:

I played a sond by "triggerrfinger" and at arround 16:43 the server failed. In the End I had to restart the server manually.

Can someone find anything in the log ?

Ok, I think I see what's going on and I've got this resolved for the next release, thanks.

Maybe you could explain that a little bit. Because I had similar problems last night with a movie in a kodi system.
