Auto Log Off Timeout not working

For a while now i have noticed that when i turn on my tv in the evening the emby app is still open and usually on the detail page for the morning news which we watch before work every day. App is set to log out after 1 hour of inactivity.

 

strangely, (not sure of linked) for the last week or so i've had a phantom instance of Emby Theater showing up in the dashboard with me as the user. i am fairly certain this is wrong and that there is no instance of ET open anywhere. the dashboard info is not much help at working out which PC it thinks its on though

Yeah, the auto logoff feature is not working as well in an attempt to fix the crashes people were seeing on the Fire TV.

 

I think what is happening is the device is going to sleep and our loop is shutting down until it wakes back up.  If you don't touch the remote for about 30 seconds after turning on the TV, the app will probably exit (because the loop is re-started).
