More Windows Media Key Support

Would it be possible to add a few more Windows Media Keys to Emby Theatre?

Recorded TV

Live TV

 

This would make it integrate with MCE and Logitech remotes very nicely. For instance I cant send CTRL-G from my Logitech Elite but I can send Guide.

while being done natively in ET you can use this tool to modify mce key to whatever you want

That utility only works for the RC6 remote. I am using a Harmony Elite and I cant see how to remap that one.

i'm using an harmony remote too, you dont remap your remote with this utility but modify registry so guide command send the key you want 

 

exemple i did that the back key send backspace instead of back command but its windows who translate not the remote, the remote still send back key

Uunfortunately this suggestion did not work for the guide key.

Just tried to map guide to control+g key and now guide send control+g and bring me to guide inside ET so it should have worked for you 

 

did you click apply to registry after modification ? you have to reboot too

Yes I did the apply and reboot and it works fine when I use an IR remote but the Logitech Elite does not appear as an IR remote - it appears as a bluetooth keyboard.
