Playback sometimes dosn´t start, logs attached.

Hello. 

 

I am using emby with its stable kodi addon for a few days now. Sometimes playback does not start for some files. 

The underlying storage is a sshfs mount. Clicking the same file again does start playback, sometimes on the third click.

It seems to me that kodi is just timing out. But the emby server has issues catching that file?

So ffprobe is failing? am i right?

 

Is there a way to make ffprobe more polite? The error plops instant on server,(clocks are not in sync) maybe wait a few seconds?

can someone spot me at least to the place in the code where this is happening(ffprobe) so i will have a look on my own?

Hi, you're trying to use https over your local network:

https://192.168.0.50:443

Don't do this. Instead, use plain http when on your local network. Let us know if this helps. Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry for the confusion. i changed this.

In reality this is a public ip i wanted to hide here. Not sure if this makes any difference. I had a closer look to that one anyway.

So i noticed that emby threads my public defice (eth0) as a local network. Maybe this is the cause? Where to tell emby that there is only a public interface?
