Emby randomly crashes during playback

I'm running emby version 3.2.25.0 on Arch Linux. Basically my problem is that while I'm watching something emby will crash because of some random exception.

 

The actual crash (I think) can be found in the log file. Please note that the crash in question (which then kiled emby) is at the very bottom. There are a lot of other exceptions in that log during times where I wasn't even watching anything. Maybe they're related though?

 

I hope someone can help me with this. I'm getting tired of having to reboot my server all the time to unbind the port that emby leaves open during the crash which means it can't restart afterwards... >_>

So I updated the server and basically directly after starting it errors appear in the log, a lot of them. And they seem to be related to the Exceptions I got before as well. I'M uploading the log but it's big as hell. I hope someone can make some sense of it and give me advice on how to fix this.

 

Now...All the errors initially didn't make emby crash. I mean, obviously something is broken but I could still start watching something. Then about 5-10 minutes in, the video stream freezes and the server dies.

 

Basically emby is useless for me now. Which is extra frustrating because I have a lifetime premiere key and I can't even fucking use the software >_>

I included ffmpeg log for video info but this happens with regular TV videos as well.  I recently did a partial upgrade which seemed to install kernel 4.10 and some mesa libraries among other things, not sure if it is related as Emby was updated to 3.2.26 as well.

Follow up:

Downgraded movie to H264 5.1 and no issues.  Using a sound bar so maybe transcode to 2.1 channel from 7.1 is issue?

Interesting... Error 500 from the server as well! Something is breaking when feeding the video but what?

@@crypto, that just means the chromecast disconnected for some reason or another. there is no problem from the server's standpoint. Are you able to provide a sample video for testing? thanks !
