jhoff80 87
Pressing the asterisk to display the subtitle menu flashes the menu, but then it immediately disappears, not letting the user select anything. 3.0 build 41. ebr 14930
On what device and firmware version? Does the item you are playing actually have subtitles available?
jhoff80 87
My device is a Roku HDMI Stick running 7.6.0, though the same issue occurs on a Roku 3 (don't know the number of the firmware version, but the user checked for updates immediately prior to playback). And yes there are subtitles available and it shows the list in the window that flashes on-screen, but it doesn't stay up.
ebr 14930
Does it work if you use the on-screen button to produce the dialog?
jhoff80 87
Does it work if you use the on-screen button to produce the dialog? Yes, pressing the ok button and then selecting the subtitle icon works. It's only the asterisk button that doesn't work.
ebr 14930
Okay, thanks. We are having to hijack that button and I think our method probably needs some adjustment.
