blastbass 0
Hello, What is the prerequisites to use an Emby Server (Debian) over internet ? I have only change the port 8090 to eliminate IP scans. I have 12 users on my server and 2 to 4 simultaneous connections with various devices (Chromecast // tablets // PC) But i have setup my server since Jannuary and i have some issue, randomly ... For exemple : One or 2 time per week, the emby server is very slow, and and sometimes it freezes. Second issue, i have sometime a low upload when i try to download via emby//PC. If y test to download a file via apache, i have a biggest upload: Average 4~~6 mbits via EMBY /// 30mbits when i try to download a shared file on the same server. My server have a 250 mbits of bandwith. An idea to increase the performance ?

Solution blastbass 0 Posted August 7, 2017 Author Solution Share Posted August 7, 2017 (edited) Just for information, i have solved my stability problem. Just set the CPU and nursery size to 512: MONO_ENV="MONO_THREADS_PER_CPU=512 MONO_GC_PARAMS=nursery-size=512m" No crash since one week, much fastest, big stability. So it's a huge param (I'have 12 users and 2-3 simultaneously) @@Luke, can you explain in details what is the utility of each parameters ? I'have 16 gigs of RAM, can i increase the parameters ?
