Emby crash refreshing media library Ubuntu server 17.04

Hi everyone,

I installed recently Emby on my Ubuntu server 17.04, 32 bits. The installation has been performed using the apt tool. I tested both the stable and beta (3.2.25.9) releases, and I experience the following issue with both versions of Emby. I tested Emby on two different hardware with the same OS (both 32bits) and experienced the same issue too (a pentium 4 with 512Mo of ram and a pentium M 1.7GHz with 2Go of ram).

I have a big (2 To) tv shows  library mounted through a samba share. When I ask emby to scan the folders to build the media library, emby crashes (i.e. the process dies and the service is stopped) after some random time (sometimes 30minutes, or a few hours). After restarting the scan procedure several times it may achieve to import the whole library properly. Other features (streaming to Kodi or through the web browser) seem to work properly and it only crashes (sometimes, maybe three times out of four attempts) when refreshing media library.

I attached two logs of the emby server. Most of the errors seem to be of the following type:

1)

2017-07-20 13:25:44.5914 Info HttpClient: HttpClientManager GET: https://www.thetvdb.com/api/GetSeriesByRemoteID.php?imdbid=tt0161608&language=fr2017-07-20 13:25:44.6437 Error App: Error in TheTVDB

...

System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null.	Parameter name: seriesId

2)

Error HttpClient: Error getting response from https://www.mb3admin.com/admin/service/MB3Packages.json
...

System.Net.WebException: Error: NameResolutionFailure

Note: I can access the page https://www.mb3admin.com/admin/service/MB3Packages.json with curl from the server without any problem.

3)

2017-07-20 13:40:41.5018 Error InstallationManager: Error updating package cache
...

MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: Error: NameResolutionFailure ---> System.Net.WebException: Error: NameResolutionFailure

I would appreciate ideas to solve this issue. I'm available to provide further details on the system env if needed.

Thank you for your help.

I performed a memtest. One of my ram module is defective. I'm going to retry to import the media library with valid ram modules and report here if the crash still happens.

Ok without the defective ram module emby achieves to refresh the library properly without crash. Sorry for the useless post.
