Turning off subtitles disables audio?

Recommended Posts

Lee

Strange behaviour i've encountered in a DTS-HD MA file if I disable subs the audio doesn't play. Playback in VLC doesn't display this behaviour. Although I have tried to remux the video and remove subs (HDMV?) and the playback of audio is absent at least thru the Roku. I didn't get chance to check on anything else.

are the HD subs tied to the audio in a way to show this behaviour? any ideas??

going to try a recode see what I get in the meantime..

mainly an inquisitive post..

Hi.  You'd need to reproduce this one problem and then send a log from the app (instructions at the link above) and also include the server and ffmpeg logs from that particular session.  Thanks.
