Turning off subtitles disables audio?

Strange behaviour i've encountered in a DTS-HD MA file if I disable subs the audio doesn't play. Playback in VLC doesn't display this behaviour. Although I have tried to remux the video and remove subs (HDMV?) and the playback of audio is absent at least thru the Roku. I didn't get chance to check on anything else.

are the HD subs tied to the audio in a way to show this behaviour? any ideas??

 

going to try a recode see what I get in the meantime..

@Luke ebr has my latest logs for the roku.. they might show on there. i have some other issues with aac5.1 playback so i sent him them for that

Hi.  You'd need to reproduce this one problem and then send a log from the app (instructions at the link above) and also include the server and ffmpeg logs from that particular session.  Thanks.
