Forked Skin Mod - Make Local?

is it possible to download a forked skin (mod) to your local emby folder (users/yourname/appdata/roaming/emby-theater), and link to it using the "install from url" plugin option? seems that the skin would be much easier to work on using notepad++ or the like if this was possible... also, is there a way to refresh an instance of emby theater to see changes made to a skin vs closing and reopening? thanks!

First question, no, however second question yes, and it is covered in the default skin readme:

https://github.com/MediaBrowser/emby-web-defaultskin

In case you're wondering, yes this readme assumes you know how to use github, fork a repo, etc.

response to first reply, aw shucks.... to second, unfamiliar with efficiently working with github files, nodejs, github desktop, etc... have been doing it the hard way, i.e. tv.emby.media opened in chrome, playing with code using chrome's inspector, opening up a forked file and applying the code that i like, saving file, refreshing tv.emby.media, seeing how the added code looks, rinse and repeating....

edit: is there a way to link to the github repo / forked skin using notepad, as you would to a phpbb forum server? this would be great...
