Hello guys,
First it was very strange that subtitles wasn't show up in Kodi, when I have installed Emby plugin and play it through it.

Then I tried it on browser, but they wasn't there, too.

In all programs, which I use there it works, when subtitles are not in movie or in TV show then I will rename subtitles name to same name as movie what I want to play except prefix and it works.

For example:
Movie name: Example.mkv
Subtitles name: Example.srt

I tried it w/o Emby on Kodi and subtitles was there.

My Emby server version is: 3.2.25.0. Maybe this is wrong category, but I wasnt sure.

Oh.. here we go. So I'll really need to refresh my library after I add subtitles? :/ That's not good way to handle it.

Btw. Could there be instead of "Und" be word "External", which would explain it better?

In my case it is very unpractical. I'd appreciate if there will be another solution for it. :-)

But if it would be in future (not now). I will wait. It will be really good to see another approach to external subtitles.

Honestly sometimes I don't know if tv show or movie has subtitles and if they're synced properly (because there is still missing feature for syncing subtitles in Emby).

So right now I'm doing it in this way:
- Prepare popcorn (:-D) I'm preparing mostly food and drink (water)

- Start to watch

- Check 5-10 sec to subtitles show up. If they didn't. I'm going to titulky.com and I'm downloading them, there.

After I download them I can choose between two options:

1) play it in MPC and if subtitles isn't synced this is my only way, because I can sync them manually by pressing F1 or F2

2) play it in Kodi or in browser and hopefully subtitles are synced. I couldn't drag them into movie so I'll need copy&paste same name from tv show or movie and rename subtitles.  Put in to NAS.

That's not problem. But this is:

Now I need to login to Emby. Let's find, where can I sync my folder or library. Wait... Patient, please... It's done.
And now I can watch my episode.

Do I really need to repeat it after each episode? :(  When you're sometimes very tired you wouldn't wait for completing syncing and you will start it with English subtitles, which it would means that you don't understand 10 maybe 20% of it, but you will understand point or the sentence how it was meant. :-)

Yeah, there's workaround that I can download all subtitles for whole season, but in this case translator (right now she) includes her comment before downloading subtitles.

Something like what we can expect in that episode. It's not spoiler, but I'm not sure if this is right word, maybe prolog and what we should check mostly or it's not trailer, but she said: "I would like to have clean kitchen as it is in this episode"

And you'd be curious what she think. :-)

//OT: I was asking on #emby channel on Freenode, but it seems like dead channel
