Option to set the amount of items shown and sort by upload date

I'd love an option where the administrator can define, hoch much items are shown on

 

1. Main page ( f.e. movies, series, etc )

2. under "more"

 

It should be possible to "freely" set this amount, maybe up to 15 on main page

and 50 or more under "more".

 

 

 

Another nice  option would be to be able to sort items for "upload time"

to be able to see what media was uploaded over the last year or so.


Or if at least a freely editable corner where an admin can write down what was

uploaded .....

That is nice... thanks, didnt see that yet *shame

 

but still... the amount of items shown on main page and under "more" is still an important feature to be implementet imho.

 

EDIT: just testet this sort order... thats kinda nice... but would love a admin feature which would allow to set this setting

as search standard for all.... so that users do not need to actually switch the sort order and what to sort for.

Just work with this sort order a litle.

 

1.

What directly jumped into my eyes is that it seems to not work well for series.

in the round abuot last 20 series items or so there are some missing.

 

Is that behavior already known to you guys?

Any ideas on what might be the cause?

 

2.

And is there maybe a way to set this sort order (by Date+descending) to

"standard" so if I click on "movies" or "series", this is the default shown

pattern?? That would be realy helpful for me.

1 - I believe, right now, sorting by date added in Series will sort by the date the actual Series was added, not the last episode.  I believe that is an open issue.

 

2 - Some of the apps do this now (by remembering the last sort you selected).  It should eventually get into all of them.
