Share ad-hoc session

I apologize if this is already available... if it is, I can't figure it out.  I started watching a movie w/ my son over the weekend in my theater room.  He doesn't have access to it when I'm not home, but it would be pretty cool to be able to share the play state w/ him on his Emby client so he can continue where we left off when I'm not around.  If it's possible, point me to the doc.  If not, it'd be great, since this isn't the first time I've wished for the feature.  I'm not talking about a permanent session share, literally at the single movie level.  Thanks
