Recording, watching, slipstreaming

Hi,

 

When recording, does emby store the stream 'as is', so it can be slip streamed, re-wound etc.

 

I noticed when I closed the recording down, it takes several minutes until it appears in the library, but i've seen I have the option ticked for 'convert to...'

 

Not really fussed about file size and wondered if there is slip streaming, would it need to be in the streamed format, i.e. mpeg2ts...

 

Also, I think the the choice of words 'do not record' might be better if it said 'stop recording'.

 

Do not record might imply that the user wishes to cancel the whole record process for that item, i.e. stop and delete

Yes some apps already support seeking the live stream.
