skivy71 5
Hi, Probably another silly question (and I'm sure I've seen it do what I'd expect).... When watching a live tv stream and clicking back to view the guide etc, is the stream supposed to keep going until forcibly stopped... quite often show as a windowed preview whilst you're browsing. As far as I can tell, the stream seems to stop whilst the user navigates elsewhere. kind regards, Neil
Luke 37091
No, the stream will stop when you hit back.
ebr 14919
However, there are plans to have the ability to bring up the guide while still watching the live stream. The Android TV and Fire TV apps can do this now.
skivy71 5
Ahh, does that mean that device's using android TV etc would be considered the best choice of client for TV's etc, as opposed to ET running under windows?
Luke 37091
No, we are designing our TV apps to be consistent, so it won't matter which device you're using, you'll be able to have the same experience.
maegibbons 1267
However, the F/ATV app is a very good choice for use with emby. It works very well IMO. its a low cost client device compared with an HTPC Krs Mark
