bradford 5 Posted June 25, 2017 Share Posted June 25, 2017 I'm not sure if this is related to the GPU transoding that I recently got working (I've commented on the NVENC thread), but I have some videos that require transcoding to the Android app (Shield TV). After about 10 minutes the Emby app freezes and won't respond. I'm on the latest server and app (beta I believe, 1.4.17g). I should note that the crash happens after the server has transcoded the entire show/episode, so it's not actively transcoding. bradford 5 Posted June 25, 2017 Author Share Posted June 25, 2017 With CPU encoding the Android TV app didn't crash. I sent the logs from the app, hopefully it contains helpful information. With GPU on the crash happened very consistently around 10-15 minutes into each episode (episodes were encoded similarly, generally same length, and are from the same source).
