dbowles1975 25
I know that Emby currently doesn't search for / download metadata for series in the guide because it often returns incorrect information but would it be possible to add this as an option that could be turned on / off? Luke 37094
I don't think there are any plans for this. It is better to just have it come from the guide data.
dbowles1975 25
That would be ideal but not all IPTV services provide this information.

dbowles1975 25
How about getting guide data from schedules direct? Krs Mark Because of the way the provider reuses channels this wouldn't work.
Luke 37094
Why not ask your provider for an xml tv download of program listings to go along with the m3u?
dbowles1975 25
Why not ask your provider for an xml tv download of program listings to go along with the m3u? They're primarily a Kodi add-on so they don't use xmltv. What I have is compiled from a few different sources and generated via script. The easiest way to add program icons would be for Emby to download them server side but I might be able to work something else out. Thanks.
