skivy71 5
Hi, Just testing my backend system and have noticed an issue regarding emby identifying the extra streams, like audio, subtitles etc. I've tested the same stream in VLC and MPV and they all there and switchable too. Not sure why emby (and ET don't see them). Any ideas? Thanks Neil
Luke 37091
Best thing to do is go over a specific example by seeing how to report a media playback issue. thanks !
skivy71 5
Ah ok, being a developer myself, can you give me any pointers as to quickly discover the problem? I'm using Emby server (Ubuntu) and Emby Theatre (Windows), and I tested that the streams were found and controllable using MPV, since you said in a previous post that MPV renders in ET (i'm using Win7 clients). skivy71 5
Hi Luke, I've made some changes to my backend whereby the http link in the playlist 'is' the actual stream and it works much better now. Since then, mpv via ET is seeing the other streams now - yay! Will be trying recording shortly since my dual tuner backend can share transponders (i.e. the tuner) where needed. The only issue I'd like to resolve is the schedules direct linking... The channel logo's seem to remain as per the original mapping, despite me going through the list and re-mapping where needed. I have full control of my backend and I'd like to know what code emby is using to map channels. All my numbers are spot on, so if it could go for that, no remapping Excellent system though... the best - keep up the good work Neil
