Live TV in Client ?

toch

Recommended Posts

My tv card is a terratec  - Cinergy C PCI HD CI so I am using slot / cam plus smart card. I am using DVBLINK to make it DVB-C Windows  Media Center compatible.

The above is running find, but I would like to include the live TV in the media browser 3.

I am running windows 8.1 and my server version is 3.0.5135.31685.

I install the server WMC  under plugins, and the server WMS did connect.

I believe the result will come up in MB client ( theater ) but where to find it ?

( I am just a user, so be patient with me please )

Best regard

I found it in the webclient, but the picture freeze ( not always ) when I pick it up. Is the system still a bit unstable ? (or is mine ? )

When you get a freeze, we need three log files (just zip them to one file):

MBS logs found in %appdata%\MediaBrowser-Server\logs

  server log

  ffmpeg log

and the ServerWMC log (see debug tab)

The serverwmc log you posted doesn't contain the case where you are trying to view a live tv stream and it freezes.  When that happens again, save the CURRENT swerverwmc log.  Also when that happens, we only need the newest ffmpeg and MBS log.

I'm not sure, but it looks like you added your recorded tv folder as a watched media folder to mbs.  I don't think you should do this, let serverwmc provide the data to mbs don't have mbs watch it.

I don't think that's why the live tv stream is failing though, but serverwmc is not reporting a problem.
