Ember for XBOX One: FF, RW and Chapter Back Not Available Yet?

Hi Everyone,

 

First, a big ''thanks!'' to 7Illusion, the Ember app for Xbox One looks great!

 

I'm using and Xbox One Media Remote to control Ember.

 

I've noticed that the only thing that Ember responds to is the Jump Forward button (the one that jumps five mins ahead to the next chapter).

 

Ember does not respond to the Fast Forward and Rewind buttons.

 

Ember does respond to the Chapter Reverse button, however it does not jump back one chapter. 

 

When I press the Chapter Reverse button, the video goes all the way back to the beginning (even if I'm already halfway thru the movie).  

 

Is there anything I'm missing IRT Ember for XB1 and controlling it via a remote?

 

Otherwise, Play, Stop and Pause all work, so that's a good thing.

 

FWIW, Emby Theater for XB1 responds to all of the controls (FF, RW, Jump Forward, Jump Back...).

Update to my issue:

 

I installed Ember for Windows 10 on my laptop and connected my old Windows Media Center remote to it.

 

I'm finding that the Ember app for Win 10 experieces the same exact issues: No FF, no RW and Chapter Reverse completely restarts the video.

 

However, using a mouse/keyboard to FF/RW does work

 

So I guess Ember just doesn't fully support remotes at this time?
