Emby Theatre on Windows is a little too slow to change channels so I was wondering about people's experiences on the Shield? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CBers 6783 Posted May 1, 2017 Share Posted May 1, 2017 HDHomeRun in Emby works well. When you install the ATV app on the Shield, the guide will show the channels available via the tuners. From there you can watch Live TV or set up recordings. I don't use Emby Theatre (ET) but the HDHomeRun tuners should work OK with that as well. maegibbons 1267 Posted May 1, 2017 Share Posted May 1, 2017 BUT lets not ignore the fact that changing channels in any client is not the fastest using Emby. Hopefully there is room for improvement.
