bozrdnag 73
I am using Emby for Kodi and have noticed that it is not able to play my local trailers. My trailers are stored in the same folder as the movie and have the same file name with the -trailer suffix. I've done some investigating and it seems it has to do with the path. If I look in MyVideos107.db I can see it is saving the Movies paths as smb://192.168.1.42/Videos/Movies/Blu-Ray/2 Guns.mkv but the trailer is specified as plugin://plugin.video.emby/trailer/?id=31f4060e653d5bc5013eee030eb1e91a&mode=play. When trying to play the trailer the Kodi log shows: Verifying path: /mnt/Videos/Movies/Blu-Ray/2 Guns (2013)/2 Guns (2013)-trailer.mov That location does not exist on this computer. It is path to the movies from my Emby server so I assume that's why it won't play. So why are movies getting the //192.168.1.42/ path substitutions but not the trailers? Or are only the movies supposed to direct play? I have attached the full Kodi log. Hopefully somebody can help. kodi.log Edited April 28, 2017 by bozrdnag
