The reason for asking is I have a reverse proxy in front of my emby server for SSL and i implement a bot blocker. runtimesandbox 153 Posted April 28, 2017 Author Share Posted April 28, 2017 Okay after further digging it does start to report a user agent and that is xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - - [28/Apr/2017:22:36:24 +0100] "GET /emby/Users/Public?format=json HTTP/1.1" 444 0 "-" "python-requests/2.12.4" python-requests/2.12.4 This appears to be the addon syncing / talking to the server etc When playing it reports the kodi device such as "OSMC (Linux; OSMC 2017.03-1) Is it possible for the addon to report itself as "Emby for Kodi" or similar?
