gleep52 15
I'm on the latest beta and I think it's been happening for a few beta releases now - my logo.png file after I login (in the upper left) which I have directed at imgur, no longer works. The height command is still recognized, but the logo doesn't change, it just stretches Emby's logo. Here's my CSS code: @import url('https://rawgit.com/BenZuser/Emby-Web-Dark-Themes-CSS/beta/BLUE/theme.css'); .imgLogoIcon { display: none; } #loginPage { padding-top: 130px; } #loginPage:before { position: absolute; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; left: 0; right: 0; top: 60px; content: " "; background: url(http://i.imgur.com/FcNRQp4.png); background-size: 100% 100%; width: 240px; height: 52px; } /*-------------------------Login Logo------------------------------------------*/ .header { text-align: center; } .imgLogoIcon { height: 100px !important; content: url(http://i.imgur.com/FcNRQp4.png) !important; } /*-------------------------Home Logo------------------------------------------*/ h3.libraryMenuButtonText.headerButton img { content: url(http://i.imgur.com/FcNRQp4.png) !important; height: 45px !important; } /* Image Files */ .imgLogoIcon, .adminDrawerLogo img, #loginPage img.imgLogoIcon, body > div.skinHeader > div > div.primaryIcons > h3 > img { content: url(http://i.imgur.com/FcNRQp4.png) !important; } What happened that changed this functionality? I'm not real good with CSS but I don't see why the h3.libraryMenuButtonText.headerButton call isn't working... Any ideas?
gleep52 15
Sorry - premature post. Looks like the home logo section changed quite a bit. In the beta CSS dark theme I changed it around and had to swap out the home logo code with this to make it work: /*-------------------------Home Logo------------------------------------------*/ /* Image Files */ h3.libraryMenuButtonText.headerButton img, #loginPage img.imgLogoIcon, body > div.skinHeader > div > div.primaryIcons > h3 > img { content: url(http://i.imgur.com/FcNRQp4.png) !important; } img.imgLogoIcon { width: 0; height: 0; padding: 40px 0 0 131px; background: url(http://i.imgur.com/FcNRQp4.png); background-size: 100% 100%; } h3 img { width: 0; height: 0; padding: 0px 0px 25px 200px; background: url(http://i.imgur.com/FcNRQp4.png); background-size: 100% 100%; } a.adminDrawerLogo.clearLink img { content: url(http://i.imgur.com/FcNRQp4.png) !important; } Just posting in case someone else is wondering too. Happy2Play 8882
What browser are/where you not seeing image in. I had Ben Z update the code to the theme and I see images in IE, Edge, Firefox, and Chrome now (at least desktop), but he said he had an issue seeing Home Screen image in Edge so he left additional code in. /* 2.2.4 Others */ /* Image Files */ h3.libraryMenuButtonText.headerButton img { content: url(https://cdn.rawgit.com/BenZuser/Emby-Dark-Themes-Resources/master/images/logos-and-icons/BLUE/logo.png) !important; } img.imgLogoIcon { width: 0; height: 0; padding: 40px 0 0 131px; background: url(https://cdn.rawgit.com/BenZuser/Emby-Dark-Themes-Resources/master/images/logos-and-icons/BLUE/logo.png); background-size: 100% 100%; } h3 img { width: 0; height: 0; padding: 0 0 0 66px; background: url(https://cdn.rawgit.com/BenZuser/Emby-Dark-Themes-Resources/master/images/logos-and-icons/BLUE/logo.png); background-size: 100% 100%; }

The home page dashboard logo was messed up on both browsers - after I added the stuff from my second post here, it resolved the issue in both browsers. Happy2Play 8882
Must be something in the Windows 10 Creators update. I will update my test machine and see if I see the difference. @@Ben Z This will be another pain if the OS is making a difference. Edit: I still don't see any difference after Creators update. @@gleep52 The issue was when we updated the theme it probably affected your code. Your image is larger than the default image so it needs different padding. Edited April 24, 2017 by Happy2Play
th0th 1
I'm also on the latest beta, and I'm having a hell of a time changing the emby logo on the home page. I'm not using any custom themes, only the default. There are so many threads on changing it but none of the code snippets seem to work. I'm not sure if this counts as a hijack, if so I can start a new thread... it just seems a waste since there are so many threads on this topic, I didn't want to start yet another. if there's any additional info I need to add, just let me know. Anyone? Thanks, Th0th

th0th 1
What's wrong with something like this? /* Home Page */ .pageTitleWithLogo { background-image: url(https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/85/Smiley.svg/1200px-Smiley.svg.png) !important; } Hmmm... thanks for that! Is seems so simple because it is! BUT, I just found out that its working for all browsers EXCEPT chrome... which was the only browser I was testing with... hence all the wasted time. Is there some setting or cache or something that I need to change? Any other reason why it leaves the default emby logo in chrome? Thanks, Ken
