Doozer 2
Everytime I play a movie with TrueHD there is a problem. I attached the log. Eventually the movie's audio gets out of sync and there is some jitter.
Guest asrequested
There's no log attached, and what is your hardware configuration and your ET config?
Doozer 2
Sorry. I attached the log here. I am using a Windows 10 PC connected to a Marantz reviever via HDMI. I am using the HDMI bitstreaming options. My receiver displays the icon for TrueHD and the Emby dashboard says the video is playing direct (no transcoding). server-63627786100.txt
Guest asrequested
What are your ET settings, both video and audio? Screenshots? The applicable log would be for Theater, not the server, as you say you are direct playing
Doozer 2
This is the Emby Theater log. My son is sleeping in the room so I will get some screenshots when he wakes up. theater-63627786203.txt
Guest asrequested
I see you're using refresh rate switching and not using HWA. What happens when you use DXVA2copyback for HWA?
Doozer 2
I tried but still didnt work. But I discovered the same problem occurs if I try to play in Edge Browser and Emby Theater for Windows Store. I have the following settings: Video Renderer: Auto Output Range: PC(0-255) Change monitor refresh rate to match video: Yes Filter Set: Stable Speaker Layout: Stereo Audio bitstreaming mode: HDMI Audio renderer: WASAPI Dynamic range compression: none Expand mono: yes Expand 6.1 to 7.1: yes WASAPI audio device: marantz-AVR Edited April 15, 2017 by Doozer
Guest asrequested
I'm assuming your receiver supports TrueHD? Have you tried edge filter set? Edited April 15, 2017 by Doofus

Doozer 2
It is a very large file. How can I upload it? Thanks for all your help.
Guest asrequested
If you have a google drive, or dropbox etc, you can upload it there and share a link. How big is the file? Can you slice off a piece?
Luke 37215
Couple things to try - try not using refresh rate switching, and/or not using wasapi. see if that makes a difference.

Doozer 2
I had ripped them years ago. I decided to try and re-rip the same disc and it worked fine.

Guest asrequested
What specifically was not working with the original rips? A different codec or container? Maybe try a remux, it's easier than a full rip. It could be container issues.
Doozer 2
My guess is the container. It is an MKV. I have never attempted to remux a file. What software do you recommend?
