HTPCS 1
So every so often i need to restart the emby server ( Service ) to restore performance Qnap 1079 Pro with ssd cache, so servers responding fine. Network is fine. It is just good practice sometimes when emby server runs sluggish ( no other hosted services affected ) So request is Can you restart emby server to refresh its performance without it stopping media playback on any devices that are currently streaming media Service restart normally only takes about 1 but i dont want it affecting playback for other family members. Thanks, Alan
schmitty 65
This would be good... I remember a few months ago, that I could restart my server (pc) and still keep watching media. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Luke 38342
In general, no. By for apps that can play files directly using the file path, then those should be ok.
