rbroh 0
I've been using emby for a couple weeks now and have an issue that I just can't seem to resolve. I used Trakt to sync my initial watched states from Kodi and all was fine initially. However every day these states seem to go missing and I end up with a whole bunch of shows that I've previously watched will again appear as unwatched. Running the scheduled task to update from Trakt resolves temporarily, but the issue soon reappears. After browsing through these forums, I have tried disabling the option to use NFO as a metadata saver, but did not resolve. Here's what I assume is a relevant error from the log: 2017-04-03 10:26:22.9520 Info LibraryMonitor: Season 1 (\\BRAIN\DownloadsV\TV\Veep\Season 1) will be refreshed. 2017-04-03 10:26:23.2146 Error App: Error in Nfo *** Error Report *** Version: 3.2.10.0 Command line: C:\Users\Ryan\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\MediaBrowser.ServerApplication.exe Operating system: Microsoft Windows NT 6.2.9200.0 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: True Processor count: 8 Program data path: C:\Users\Ryan\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server Application directory: C:\Users\Ryan\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system System.Xml.XmlException: Root element is missing. at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(Exception e) at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.ParseDocumentContent() at System.Xml.XmlReader.MoveToContent() at MediaBrowser.XbmcMetadata.Parsers.BaseNfoParser`1.Fetch(MetadataResult`1 item, String metadataFile, XmlReaderSettings settings, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at MediaBrowser.XbmcMetadata.Parsers.BaseNfoParser`1.Fetch(MetadataResult`1 item, String metadataFile, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at MediaBrowser.XbmcMetadata.Providers.EpisodeNfoProvider.Fetch(MetadataResult`1 result, String path, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at MediaBrowser.XbmcMetadata.Providers.BaseNfoProvider`1.<GetMetadata>d__1.MoveNext() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.ThrowForNonSuccess(Task task) at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotification(Task task) at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.ValidateEnd(Task task) at MediaBrowser.Providers.Manager.MetadataService`2.<RefreshWithProviders>d__20.MoveNext() System.Xml.XmlException at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(Exception e) at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.ParseDocumentContent() at System.Xml.XmlReader.MoveToContent() at MediaBrowser.XbmcMetadata.Parsers.BaseNfoParser`1.Fetch(MetadataResult`1 item, String metadataFile, XmlReaderSettings settings, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at MediaBrowser.XbmcMetadata.Parsers.BaseNfoParser`1.Fetch(MetadataResult`1 item, String metadataFile, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at MediaBrowser.XbmcMetadata.Providers.EpisodeNfoProvider.Fetch(MetadataResult`1 result, String path, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at MediaBrowser.XbmcMetadata.Providers.BaseNfoProvider`1.<GetMetadata>d__1.MoveNext() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.ThrowForNonSuccess(Task task) at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotification(Task task) at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.ValidateEnd(Task task) at MediaBrowser.Providers.Manager.MetadataService`2.<RefreshWithProviders>d__20.MoveNext() And here are my metadata settings: Any ideas? Solution Luke 37256 Posted April 5, 2017 Solution Share Posted April 5, 2017 If you enabled syncing user data to nfo, turn that off. Some other program is probably updating the nfo and removing the watch data.
rbroh 0
Thanks for the suggestion. I have now disabled this option, and re-synced with Trakt. I'll give it a day or so and post back my results.
