Untoten 296 Posted April 1, 2017 Share Posted April 1, 2017 It would be cool if Emby worked as a sort of load balancer almost. Allow a configuration portion that points to FFMPEG on a remote server. Even better if it could allow multiple server as to balance the processing load and it would allow Emby to be on a low overhead server and put the work on the other, dedicated FFMPEG machines.It would be cool for people that use NAS devices etc for emby since they don't exactly have the power they need for multiple streams that require HD transcoding.Possibly an idea/related:https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/ffserver 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
