shoek 12
When compared to Plex, one shortcoming of Emby is that when viewing your library via the Emby Server's web app, when new shows are added to a watched folder I get a notification that the new show was indexed but the Web page UI does not update to show the new addition. If this feature already exists, please let me know how to activate it.
Happy2Play 8296
What do you mean? Auto page refreshing?
shoek 12
Yes, if I'm viewing TV section of the Emby web app, and I get a notification that a new show has been added, the page should refresh to show that new show in the list (eg: Next Up, Latest Episodes, etc.)
hstamas 153
Ive already submitted this as a feature request. I believe it has something to do with Web Sockets needing to be implemented.
riffy 32
This is the thing that annoys me the most. I use the web interface a LOT. It's such a simple thing but drives me crazy that it doesn't update & you have to hit F5 & reload the whole page to see if something changed.
Luke 37094
This is something we'll be looking to improve in the future, thanks.

Luke 37094
We do this on some screens, it just hasn't been spread to all screens yet.
