Wired Amazon Fire constantly stops; Firestick works fine

I moved this post from Windows where I had accidently posted.  

 

Recorded NBC news tonight.  On Amazon Fire, playback stutters constantly.  It plays for about 15 seconds and then hangs up for 15 seconds.  Repeatedly does this.  The show is transcoding as can be seen in the attached screenshot:

 

Server is Windows 10 i7 All in One  hardwired running Beta 3.2.7.3  

Amazon Fire is hardwired running Fire OS 5.2.4.0

Emby App is version 1.3.21a

 

Played 60 minutes which recorded yesterday and it come up as Direct Play instead of transcoding and it worked perfectly.  It also works perfectly on a wireless Firestick.  

 

When I connect to emby.media and sign in and watch same NBC news show, it works fine.

Almost has to be a network issue it seems.  Transcoding is certainly fast enough.

It evidently was the network cable.  Moved it to a different cable and it's working fine now.
