Jdiesel 1114
Would it be possible to add overscan compensation to the Roku app?
ebr 14958
Not sure exactly what you mean but I really think this is better handled by the device(s). Most modern TVs do not require any overscan. We do have margins around key elements on the screens to be sure it isn't a huge problem but, again, with any modern TV you should be able to use the full panel. The one screen that probably goes closest to the edge at this point is the TV guide because we just need every available pixel we can get there. Jdiesel 1114
Yes it was the TV guide screen that I noticed was slightly cut off. Most plasma TV's have overscan and only some offer the ability to adjust the overscan amount, often only on certain HDMI inputs. The Roku itself doesn't have the system wide option to adjust for overscan unlike the Nvidia Shield.
ebr 14958
If it becomes a big problem we will have to adjust but I hate to give up valuable screen real estate in that view for a problem that will only manifest in very rare situations.
