Vitale4 15 Posted February 25, 2017 Share Posted February 25, 2017 I am testing the new Preview release, When I go to Music, select Genres, select Classic Rock (which is in my list), the music list never shows. It simply sits on the screen with the spinning icon. Not sure if it is slow or will eventually time-out. ebr 14929 Posted February 25, 2017 Share Posted February 25, 2017 I'm guessing it is timing out. Please go into the settings and turn on the "Debug Options". Then go reproduce your issue (let it sit for at least 1 minute) then back out to the home page and hit the "Send Log" button on the bottom row. Hopefully that will work and still be able to send the log I did the home button and sent log. Started at 8:50am... sent log at 8:53am Just as an FYI -- I also rebooted the server to start everything fresh... I can go to the albums and play that way... this only happens with the GENRE selection.... The only way I found to get out of it is to hit the home button on the remote, then reload Emby Preview I could kick it off and see how long before it stops or times out... Unless it is in some type of loop.... I will test on my ROKU Sharp TV and see if it is different on it. I will also let it keep running to see if it eventually times out... If I had a way for you to connect and see it, I would provide the access... I will test later tonight... Vitale4 15 Posted February 25, 2017 Author Share Posted February 25, 2017 Did a quick test with the sound... Yes, the TV does provide an Audible sound when hitting the back button... But, when I get down to the location where you pick Genre, Album etc, the sound is not there. I click Genre, wait a second or 2, then the sound comes back... If you create a user for me on your server and PM me the remote address and user name/pw I can connect with my Roku and see if I can reproduce it. Thx. ebr 14929 Posted February 27, 2017 Share Posted February 27, 2017 On the original problem - I've stopped the hang/crash using your server to determine what was causing that - thanks. However, the root cause is an invalid response from some of those queries. It happens with both "Blues" and "Classic Rock" but not the others I tried. Can you post the server log that covers the last 30 minutes or so when you get a chance? I just tested against your server and I'd like to see if the server is throwing an error. Thx.
