smartaxel 15
I searched but did not see anything in the search results, so I'm hoping this is the best place to ask this.. Emby server on a Windows box, i7 processor, so plenty of processing power. I play live tv with the HD Homerun Prime, and view the streams through Rokus. When I view live TV, or recorded TV on a 1080 TV, there is the black box around the shows. Occasionally, commercials go full screen. Short of zooming the TV, is there a way to get Emby or the Roku app to force the shows to be full screen? The black border drives me nuts. If I zoom the TV, then when I am in a normal Roku or emby screen, things are cut off. Also, is there a good way to adjust recording quality. Some of the recordings of live TV seem ether pixelated, or a bit jumpy. If there is a lot of movement in the recorded show, it tends to jerk a bit. Live TV does not, so I assume I have to tweak some settings on my recording quality. Can someone point me in the right direction for these two questions please Thanks everyone! ebr 14905
Occasionally, commercials go full screen. Sounds like the borders are a part of the broadcast. The Roku does not provide any sort of zooming support for video. You would need to use the controls on your TV for that at this point.
