eric90066 0
When I was running emby using the app I had no problem seeing and streaming all my music files in all directories. The music is organized in a folder called music. Within that folder are some 300 subfolders with the names of each artist. Within those folders are either audio files or subfolders which contain music files. I am now running Emby on my qnap in a docker container. With the docker, I set up shared folders so I can map directories in the main nas to the emby container. This works for all directories except this one music directory. Important to note - there is another directory with audio files. Its arranged a little different with fewer sub folders. Could the issue be the large number of sub folders? Luke 37214
Hi @@eric90066, can you give an example? Can you show a screenshot of the folder contents? How did you setup the library in Emby library setup? thanks !
eric90066 0
Hi Luke, Thanks for the reply. I've attached an image of the directory seen from the command line from within the Emby docker. And yes, I tried to setup the library from within the Emby library. The problem is the library shows nothing. Again, see attached.

eric90066 0
Follow up -- this problem is resolved. The issue: for some reason the directory /music (and only /music) permission were not set correctly.
