Path Substitution

I have also an problem with path substitution and emby for WMC (and maybe other apps).

 

I have emby server on Windows, version 3.2.1 (I did the 3.2.0 update before).

 

My media files are on this server on "D:\video\Movie" with path substitution to "\\MBWIN\video\Movie":

 

This once was a global setting but I changed it to single settings.

 

Now, some files can be played, others not.

 

For example, I tried to play a trailer on this location, but got only the message that the file can't be found.

But the movie from the same location could be played.

As you can see, the path wasn't changed for the trailer but it was changed for the movie.

 

It's not the file type, as there are other mkv files that can't be played, it seems pretty random, but the same files are always playable/non playable, this doesn't change.

There's no issue with movies. For movies you go into library setup, click on the folder and you can enter the corresponding network path there. if you're having some kind of playback issue, please provide the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. thanks !
