maegibbons 1267
Ok You are having name resolution failures - what system is the server installed on? Check out your dns settings. You will have all sorts of issues without proper name resolution. Otherwise, download the m3u file from your provider and store on your local drive. THEN point emby at your local file. However, your streams wont work anyway without name resolution. KRs Mark Edited February 2, 2017 by maegibbons

I can download the m3u file but then I wont get any changes made from the supplier. but I will try that tonight once I get in from work. I do see I am not the only one having this problem. maegibbons 1267
1st Make sure you read the PM I sent you. Whilst the symptoms may be the same, the reasons may not be. Your log clearly shows name resolution issues. I have seen one similar name resoltion post recently which was affecting a qnap user. The build for both platforms "may" be creating a similar problem or it might be totally unrelated. Your provider will not change their streams much. However your big problem currently is name resolution which may or may not be an emby build issue. it is more likely to be your machine setup. Check that you can ping www.bbc.co.uk and uk-mega-iptv.is-found.org from the terminal prompt using the same user that emby is installed as. waspsoton 0
here is the log file with some important info. also sorting the guide on my mac hasn't help either.i have just done a full reinstall and i now can't match any of my channels and the guide. and i see i can't download a beta on the mac either emby log.rtf Edited February 3, 2017 by waspsoton
maegibbons 1267
This Log is from 31/01. Early parts of this log still shows Name resolution errors. At 22:00 name resolution seems to be working and it loads your m3u. It looks as though it tunes to a channel. If you have "automatically convert recordings to stream friendly format" for now switch it off to remove any ffmpeg complication. Restart emby. Refresh guide. Repost new log.
