joedeath332 0 Posted February 1, 2014 Share Posted February 1, 2014 Hi i am running the Media browser from my PC and streaming it to the tv's in the house using now tv boxes. i have just bought a 3tb hard drive for the server and wonder if there is any special settings/format that i should use when formatting it in preparation for the media. shaefurr 1337 Posted February 1, 2014 Share Posted February 1, 2014 Nothing too special, if you use MBR you wont get the full 3TB since its limited to 2.2TB. Use either GPT or GUID for the partition table to get the full space of the 3TB, after that I use NTFS for the format. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
