wex101 12
We are trying to connect remotely to my emby server but the manual server entry seems to be lacking. There is no place for a port #, and entering it the way I do on a Web browser does not seem to work. Unfortunately emby connect is not an option in this instance
Ponyo 22
You are not able to input something like https://yourip:8920? I don't have a Shield but that is how it works on my Firetv stick.
wex101 12
That's correct I'm not able to. In fact, it gives me no response what so ever.
wex101 12
To add further, I am able to connect remotely from other devices without issue
Ponyo 22
Maybe you could post some pictures/screenshots? Again I don't have a Shield but that might be helpful for others reading this thread.
ebr 14959
There should be a "Send Logs" button on the login screen. Can you please press that after you have attempted to connect and then come back here and tell me exactly when you did it? Thanks. We will be improving the screen in the future to include a dedicated port field (although the OSK is so clunky that may make it harder) but you can enter the address as Ponyo suggested. ebr 14959
Beta 1.3.18 adds an explicit "port" field to the manual entry dialog.
