mediatalent 0 Posted January 7, 2017 Share Posted January 7, 2017 Hi, I'm testing remote connectivity with the desktop app and cannot connect to port 8920 over WAN. This is the same if I use DNS name or public IP address. There is no issue however using a regular web browser connecting. Hi Luke, I'm using a the default SSL (Self Signed) cert generated by the system. Using IP or DNS (Http) name causes the same result. Are you able not able to replicate this ? In order to resolve this we are going to have to override the embedded LAV and directshow components to not reject the self-signed cert, and that just hasn't been done yet.
