Sp3kt3r 13
I've been using the ps4 TV browser app and it's working very well so far but I have noticed that all my movie are getting transcoded with the same bitrate which is around 8Mbps even with Max setting set. Is it also possible to get direct play ? Thx
Happy2Play 8282
Can you post the server and transcode logs.
Sp3kt3r 13
Sure I will do that as soon as I can I don't mind if it's transcoding since Web player might be limited to certain codec but if I could at least bump up the bitrate cause my movie are created with highbitrate (around 12-15Mbps) but it's seem that I'm limited to 8 for playback
Luke 37064
According to my research that's all the ps4 can handle.
Sp3kt3r 13
This is what I thought and you are right Like I was also reading about the max limitation and it is 8000kbps Ho well it's enough to get an HD picture for my secondary player Thx !! Happy2Play 8282
Hmm, then why would the DLNA profile be set to 24Mbps?
Sp3kt3r 13
Perhaps the limitation is within the browser ? DLNA use the Sony media player application.
