I am completely lost with the kodi plugin and apologize in advance for any duplication. Trying to play a movie on kodi installed on a different machine than the emby server, I get the error "unable to direct play m:\movies\...". Of course this does not work because the M: drive is on the server and not the kodi machine. There used to be path mapping feature but I can no longer find this in v 3.1.2. If someone could point me exactly to where I have to go to in the server or the kodi application to make the mapping that would be great.

Thank you for your help and patience in advance.

The path substitution is a per library setting now.

Just go to your libraries in Embys dashboard and edit one of those. It's right under the field where you've set your local path.

Perfect, thank you. I would have never found this after it was moved.

Yes or best of all when you first add the folders to the server do not use direct paths to drives, instead use UPNP (i.e. //192.168.1.16/movies
