Request Emby auto find Guide

Hello,

 

Actually, i use tvheanded with HDHomerun (TNT) and tvheadend finds all the guides. it don't use a external flux (xml). It read the guide from the tnt flux.

 

Can you add this feature in emby ? It's a must.

the tvheadend plugin should send the tv guide to emby. It just takes a long time. Both devices must run connected for several hours. If the guide is not shown in emby please post the emby logs.

Actually i use

 

HDHOMERUN > TVheadend > kodi (plugin PVR)

 

And in the futur i want

 

HDHOMERUN > Emby > kodi (plugin PVR)

 

The plugin PVR for emby is in developpement.

 

 

I want to remove Tvheadend, and actually tvheadend find alone the EPG and emby don't find the EPG.

Yes exactly, it's a good feature.

 

But, Now that view is not possible, I used xml.And it works well.

 

But it would be nice if emby could do it in OTA with the hdhomerun.

 

I think emby is a great software, But it lacks a lot of function on livetv.

 

For now the operation of livetv in emby does not suit me, that's why I do not take any premium account. I do not use applications, just kodi

 

When emby will manage good the livetv, I would gladly take a premium account.

 

For me what is missing:

- Replacing tvheadend directly in emby, In order to simplify my architecture, i want to remove tvheadend and use only emby. Emby will have to be as efficient as tvheadend for the time of changes of channels. - A PVR Plugin for emby in kody, with :

     - import Guide, with picture of the tv show

     - Import Logo for channel

     - Manage recording channel in kodi

     - PIP, picture in picture with two channnel. It's really good during the ad

 

- In the emby guide, why can not we go back into the past? I like to watch the list of shows that happened yesterday, before yesterday. What would be nice is to be able to return a week in the past.

 

- In the guide, my XML feed gives url for tv show images. I get the impression that emby loads images only when I request them displayed in the guide. Emby could not retrieve in advance at the same time as the recovery job guide the pictures that are in it?
