Jdiesel 1114 Posted December 22, 2016 Share Posted December 22, 2016 As the title states, the ability to set a custom maximum bitrate would be helpful for those looking to make the most out of a weak internet connection when streaming from a remote server. As it stands there are a few gaps in the available bitrate options that force the user to select the lower option. Jdiesel 1114 Posted December 22, 2016 Author Share Posted December 22, 2016 In my situation I fall between 3.2 and 4.7 which doesn't seem like much but is actually a 32% increase from one to the next whereas going from 10.7 to 12.2 is only a 12% increase. This makes matters worse when a lot of your videos happen to fall right in this range. On a side not my issue may be related to peak bitrate which I am also looking into.
